A friend of mine (Mark McNealy) who knew I was into politics called me up one day and said he had a seat at the table with Rick Wilson and the Lincoln Project team, and would I be interested in writing spots for them. I was. These spots were some of his favorites and got over 50 million views.

For "Covey Spreader" I wrote the spot and we found the guy who voiced "Honey Badger Don't Care" to be the VO

I wrote the lyrics to "Orange Faced Prison Blues" and found someone who sounded remarkably like Johnny Cash.
